Family is Everyone You Care About

This article was very interesting but i have to say it was definitely not surprising. Internet addiction is a very serious thing. It is true that texting and IMing does make people happy. People have “fun” texting. You don’t even have to talk to anyone in order to feel popular. This is kind of weird because talking to people in person is not considered important. This is bad because you loose respect for other people and what they deserve.

I think mini-movies could help teachers do a lot. They could post a video about the lesson to help answer any questions they think might have came up. If a teacher was absent they could teach part of the lesson on a video. Or maybe even have the assignment as a video. There are lots of ways a teacher could find this a usefull way to teach and help students.

My semester at Corniela Connelly has been a good one. I have not exactly learned a lot but the little things i learned will definitely help me. Last year was not any harder or easier. The only differences from last year were that i took different classes and that i had different friends. This year has been better then the year before. Next year I hope will be better because I want to go to a public school, Marina High School.

I have learned much things in Mr. Marshall’s computer class. I have learned to publicize my work. One way to do this is on a blog. You can post your opinions so that everyone can see. You can make voice threads. People can comment on these and write on your pictures that express your ideas. This was actually my favorite part because you can express your ideas to so many people and not have to write it. For me, writing is not my strongest point so i liked being able to tell it instead of writing it.

Also, I have learned a lot in English. I learned how to write better. From thesis to conclusions to body paragraph i have gotten better at them all. All of these together created a great paper. The paper is on Macbeth which is one of the many literature our class has read. Some others are Beowulf, The Hobbit, and Sonnets. I have learned about grammar. Some components of grammar that i have learned much more about are verbs, run-on sentences, pronouns, adjectives, and adverbs. Nothing in this class has really appeared to me as interesting but it is a decent class and it will work.

The most I have learned in any class is my Latin I class. I have learned much about the declensions and conjugations. I have learned new vocabulary words. There are a lot more declensions and conjugations that i would want to know about but i know about a good amount. The vocabulary is a lot to learn but it is supposed to help you on SAT’s i guess so it should probably be good. I don’t really regard any of this information as interesting.

I would not really like to learn anything more about any of these classes. For this reason I would want to go to a school with a much wider opportunity for taking classes i would be interested in. Although this school is nice I would want to go to a school that had more electives such as Marina.
